A Step-by-Step guide to Register for Online Bill Payment of your Eastex Telephone Bill

Make sure you can view this page while you register so you can follow the steps - You can print the page if you like!

Step 1 - Obtain your Ebill ID and Initial Password

Make sure you know your Ebill ID and Initial Password!
Your Ebill ID is an 8 digit code that is printed at the top right section of page 1 on your telephone bill.
Your initial password is your 10-digit telephone number (including area code) without any dashes or spaces.

Step 2 - Access the Eastex Telephone Online Bill Payment WebPage

Click Pay or View My Telephone Bill on the www.eastex.com/paybill screen or click HERE to access the Online Document and Payment Center for Eastex Telephone Cooperative.

Step 3 - Initiate Registration

Click on the text: Click here to register

Step 4 - Acknowledge Terms of Use

Read the terms of the License Agreement.
If you agree with the terms presented in the agreement, click on the ACCEPT button to continue registering for your online bill payment account.


Step 5 - Log into the Online System

Your Ebill ID is the complete 8 digit number from Step 1 above - including any leading zeroes.
Your initial password is your 10-digit telephone number (including area code) without any dashes or spaces.

Enter your Ebill Id and initial password when prompted.


Step 6 - Provide Email Address

You will be presented with a screen requesting general information. Most of the items are already populated. You must provide your e-mail address (twice for verification) and an account name. The account name may be anything you like, such as your name or telephone number.
Click on CONTINUE after entering these items.

Step 7 - Confirmation of Ebill ID and Password

You will need to enter your Ebill ID and Password and click on ENTER.
Note: Your Password is still your 10 digit telephone number at this point.


Step 8 - Password Change

You will be asked to enter your OLD password (Your 10 digit telephone number) and a NEW password of your choice.
Click on the CONTINUE button once you have entered and recorded your new Password.
Note: Your new password must be at least 6 characters long. (Alphanumeric characters)

Congratulations! You have now registered your Eastex Telephone Online Account.
You can view your bills online now!
  Continue with Step 9 to PAY bills online.


Step 9 - Set-up a New Payment Account

Click on My Payment Accounts (Dark blue button on the left side of the screen)
Click on the text that states: Click Here to Add a New Payment Account...

Step 10 - Select Checking/Savings

When Prompted to <Choose Account Type> select whether you will pay from a checking or savings account.
A form will appear allowing you to enter your account information.
Note: You can only pay via a Checking or Savings account with the Online Payment system.


Step 11 - Enter Account Information


You will be prompted for an account name. Enter a name that identifies your bank account.
For example: John's Checking, Mary's Savings, FirstBank Checking, etc.
Enter your account number and routing number.
Click on the CONTINUE button.

You have now set-up an account from which you can make payments!

Step 12 - Pay a Bill Online

Click on MY DOCUMENTS (Dark blue button on the left side of the screen)
Click PAY on your currently due bill.

You will be presented with a form to enter your payment information.
Once you have entered your payment information, click on the PAY NOW button.


Step 13 - Payment Confirmation


You will be asked to confirm your payment and will be given the option to make future payments automatically.

Click on PAY NOW when your are satisfied with the settings.

Click CONTINUE once you have recorded or printed the confirmation information for your records.

You will receive a confirmation Email once your payment has been processed by our system.
Note: Payments do not occur instantly, please allow at least 3 business days for your payment to be processed
