Section 4: Rates for Interstate Long Distance Service

4.1 Direct Dialed Service

4.1.A The following three Direct Dialed Service rate options apply to any 1+ direct dialed call to any intrastate or interstate point.

4.1.B Direct Dialed calls are billed in 6 second increments and have a minimum call duration of sixty (60) seconds.

4.1.C The standard domestic direct dial rate is available to any qualifying residential or business customer.

4.1.D Rates

Option 1: No monthly fee and $0.119 per minute
Option 2: $4.95 monthly fee and $0.089 per minute
Option 3: $6.95 monthly fee and $0.069 per minute

4.2 800 Service

4.2.A Applies to all 800 terminating calls to customer.

4.2.B These calls are billed in 6 second increments. A 60 second minimum is required for all completed calls.

4.2.C Rate periods for all calls are the same.

4.2.D Monthly Recurring Charge

In addition to the Usage Charge described in this Section, there shall be assessed a monthly charge of $6.50 per line for each 800 vanity number assignment, and $0.90 per line for each standard 800 number assignment.

4.2.E Payphone Origination Charge

For calls originating at a pay telephone and terminating with the 800 Service subscriber line, a $0.80 Payphone Origination Charge will apply per call.

4.2.F Usage Charge

The usage charge for 800 Service is $0.099 per minute at all times.

4.3 Directory Assistance

The rates for Directory Assistance available to all Domestic Points, where such calls are not placed using a calling card are:

Residential: $0.90 per call

Business: $0.90 per call

Directory Assistance calls placed through a calling card account shall be assessed a $1.50 charge per call.

4.4 Reserved for Future Use

4.5 Calling Card Service

Calling Card Service calls are billed in 60 second increments and the minimum call duration for a completed call is 60 seconds.

Residential Flat Rate: $.20 per minute

Business Flat Rate: $.20 per minute

Calling Card calls to Directory Assistance are subject to additional charges as outlined in Section 4.3 above.

4.6 Payphone Origination Charge

Per call: $0.80

4.7 Block of Minutes

Regulations regarding Blocks of Minutes are outlined in Section 3.12, preceding.
