Important Information About the Affordable Connectivity Program

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has announced the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) will soon be ending due to program funds being nearly depleted. ACP is a federally funded benefit program which provides a discount of up to $30 per month toward internet service for eligible households and up to $75 per month for households on qualifying Tribal lands. Eastex is no longer accepting enrollments or transfers in this program. If you are currently enrolled in ACP, you will continue to receive the monthly discount until the program ends. It is expected that April will be the last month in which ACP subscribers will receive the benefit. Thereafter, ACP customers will be charged the non-discounted rate for their internet service.

ACP households may change their internet service or opt-out of continuing service after the end of the ACP. ACP households may also switch their internet plan without penalty. To make changes to your internet service or account, or for further questions about ACP, please contact Eastex via email at customersupport@eastex.com, or you may call your local office: (800) 232-7839 (Henderson & Waskom) or (800) 732-7839 (Livingston).
